Fifeteen years in journalism, tv, radio and print, but "Travel World" is the best job any journalist can have. Being able to combine a love of travel with a radio show heard by so many people is a dream come true, especially with a great boss like the infamous travel wizard, Mr. Pickford!!!

Some of the other jobs I've held and loved include working at First Frame Productions in Johannesburg, South Africa. I went over there 3 years ago to produce stories in the bush. Can you believe I lived with a herd of tamed elephants in Zimbabwe?? I also love working on two educational TV shows for kids. "Popular Mechanics for Kids" and "YAA ! To the Max" are the shows and working in a kids show office is great fun. We used to have a rubber chicken hanging from the wall!!

History.what can I say here.grew up in New Yawk.still sorta tawk like one. Vic Phillips calls me "one tough american broad" but I know he means that as a compliment!! That's why we love our Vic!!! I'm real street smart ... can navigate any city anytime which is why I'm such a good reporter. I ask tons of questions and actually when I got my first radio job at age 22, my mother said "finally someone is going to pay you to ask all your questions!!"

Most Memorable Trip: Some of my favorite destinations so far have been mostly all of the warm climates but I particularly loved the Barbados (great spicy fish), Hong Kong (shopping, shopping and more shopping), Madrid (very handsome spanish men!!!), Malaysia (truly paradise on earth!), NYC (my hometown!!!) and Tokyo (the most efficient subway on the planet and, of course, the best sushi!!).

Dream Trip: My wish list for Travel World includes Singapore, Thailand, Kenya, Tanzania and Ireland but I welcome listener suggestions!!! My repeat wish list includes: South Africa but Capetown this time, Malaysia (can't go enough!!), Hong Kong and Mexico.

Hobbies/Interests: Spare time..let's see..I love walking through the streets of any city eyeing at café. Actually, café and newspapers in a café is a big time favorite! I see a lot of movies, love trying exotic food and cool. Restos, my book club once a month is fun!! And anything to do with travel is my real passion!
